The Three Horseshoes, Goulceby

the Lincolnshire Wolds Pub for Camping, Glamping & Marquee Weddings

Find out about our group policies and who we take bookings from.

Managing groups on a shared campsite can be difficult in order to keep everyone happy.  For this reason we create exclusive group packages for seperate areas of campsite or limit groups to a maximum of three units.

What restrictions do you have on group sizes?

We limit the size of any group booking to a maximum of three units. We are a small campsite and it is uncomfortable for invividual campers to feel relaxed with a large group surrounding them.

Do we have to pay a deposit?

Yes.  All groups need to identify a lead booker - the person who makes the booking.  They are responsible for the contract between us and them and will be responsible for making a pre-payment authorised credit or debit card payment on arrival.  This type of payment is the same as  hotels often charge on arrival and allows the hotel to add charges up to seven days after the authorisation date. The lead booker is thereby financially responsible for maintaining the orderly behaviour of the whole group and paying for any loss or damage caused.

Are young groups allowed?

No, sorry,  unless supervised by adults.  We are a licensed premises which makes taking groups containing a large amount of under 21s difficult.  We operate a proof 25 scheme within the pub.  There are exceptions to this is for organised groups such as the Duke of Edinburgh scheme where responsible adults are managing the youngsters.

What behaviour is not acceptable?

We are a small relaxed countryside campsite and ask all our campers to respect their camping neighbours, the environment and the countryside way of life.

How should we book?

All groups should book by telephone only.  If a group either collectively books pitches or individually books a few different pitches via our online booking system we may decline the booking without refund.  If it becomes apparent that your booking is a group booking, even after you have arrived, we may cancel your booking without refund.
