Our pub and campsite closes at the end of the summer season and will shortly be available for exclusive hire, creating a brand new product ideal for a celebration. Gather your friends and family over a weekend, midweek or week.

With such an amazing venue, we are constantly looking to evolve our business and believe there is a great opportunity over the winter period (November-March) to develop the idea of a group using the whole venue exclusively for themselves.

The Three Horseshoes is a unique space perfect for groups, with several pods, rooms above the pub, campsite hard-standings along with abundant parking and the extensive facilities of a cosy country pub: self-serve beer technology, a commercial kitchen capable of dealing with a larger party that can be supplied with or without someone to cook, log burning fires, loads of comfortable seating and dining space and countless games and activities to keep everyone engaged including pool table, darts, an interactive TV ideal for running Karaoke, Pictionary games and many other internet enabled activities. As a campsite we also have a massive outside space which includes a marquee with a table tennis table. So why not put the whole lot together?

We aim to creates a unique opportunity to enjoy all the facilities we have developed over the years. It is ideal for families and groups of friends without worrying about sharing the space with others. Bring your own food and drink (or let us supply kegs and chefs) and make this a great place for gathering an extended family or your friends for a special birthday or celebration. Different generations and family groups, with children and pets, will particularly like the variety of onsite accommodation available enabling an escape away from any party noise.

The idea is in development this winter (2025/26), ready to run some test events to gather some pictures and feedback. If you would like to book us, we are looking for groups of between roughly 20-30 for a Friday evening - Sunday evening hire. Cost is expected to be around £50 per person, per night based on groups of 30. i.e. around £3000 for a weekend hire. Security deposit will probably be required.

Our new bar setup brings a brand new experience to our pub.

By installing Pour My Beer's flow technology, our visitors can now enjoy a brand new 'bar tender' experience by getting behind the bar, using a pre-paid drinks card and testing their beer pouring abilities. We believe this a first and only 'get behind the bar experience' for a public house and I do like doing something new!

By having this technology we will now be able to open the pub when previously closed. Alongside our micro-market, the pub will now offer an all week, all day, accessibility to hot and cold drinks, food and snacks for people to enjoy when exploring this outpost in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

With at least one of us on site all the time, it will enable us to monitor the bar, create some snacks and generally be around looking after the place. Visitors will be able to easily access food and drink, from morning to evening.

           Update 2026

Our pour your own beer experience has now been running for a year, and I have to say, we absolutely love it.

Some surprising benefits are probably where there was concern.
Would there be a scrum behind the bar? Well absolutely none of it, even when very busy - its fast.
Would people like it? The best thing about it, is that customers can choose what they want - we haven't made it that divisive. Some like a pint served and some love the self-serve.

The uptake has been amazing. For most of our campsite guests and many regulars, they love it. Its not only cheaper beer, its also a fun thing to try and social. Our self-pourers seem to get a real sense of belonging and for us, that is a lovely feel.

Campsite Electric Metering is Coming

Why Campsite Metering is now the Route Forward

Over the winter (22/23) we have installed new electric hook up bollards that will take a pre-paid smart card so that our customers only pay for what they use in electric and not for what they don't. This is becoming increasingly common on campsites and caravan parks across the UK.

With the souring price of electricity in 2022 there was widespread panic in businesses that feared 600% price increases. Fortunately, prices have come down slightly at the start of 2023 but are still significantly up on previous years. Campsites like ourselves tended to include a estimated amount of average electric consumption within their pitch pricing. The resulted in two things:

Some customers who burned a lot of juice benefitted at the expense of those that don't, so electric hook-ups or pitches become expensive for those just wishing to charge a mobile phone.

Because electric has been paid for in the pitch price, customers are often not very green in their behaviour, burning unnecessary electric. In most cases campsite electric bills can be cut by 10s of thousands by encouraging greener habits, meaning far less juice could be consumed as an industry, which means we collectively play our part in not needing so much electricity from overseas. Hopefully this causes a drop in demand and therefore a drop in price, so everyone wins.

What we hope is that campers will ultimately benefit by having a cheaper and greener experience as we will alleviate the need to create a far more expensive nightly pitch price because of souring electric prices.

Legally, campsites can only charge electric at the price they are charged, so you will be guaranteed the best rate available to us and our climate benefits because we predict people to treat their consumption in a more considered way if they are paying for the units of energy used directly.

Nearest Pub for Visitors looking for Cadwell Park Accommodation

Accommodation alternative for visitors to Cadwell Park, near Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds at the Three Horseshoes pub, just three miles from the infamous track. Where better to stay than the closest pub with accommodation to Cadwell Park, with a choice of options from camping to ensuite pods all with a good nights sleep, great food and an easy crawl to bed after a few tasty beers.

A solution to your Cadwell Park accommodation needs, why the Three Horseshoes is the place to stay.

At just under three miles from Cadwell Park, the Three Horseshoes is the closest (and best) pub offering accommodation but also so much more. We have accommodation with a difference, which we think is just about perfect for topping off a great experience when visiting Lincolnshire's infamous racing circuit.

If you have been to Cadwell Park before, you will know what its like. Exciting to drive, but not necessarily the place for a good nights kip. The only accommodation offer at Cadwell Park is a campsite, and on their busier events, more fields and more camping. Without any electric hook ups, the campsite has a few generators running and combined with a scrum for a shower could be described as earthy, but it is on the track and close to the action. For many, you can't beat that.

Here at the Three Horseshoes, just under three miles down the valley from Cadwell Park, we offer a more restful night. Getting up early to check in for the main event is, what it's all about so having a good night's sleep, a few beers and a great plate of food in a countryside pub just adds to the experience. You can fall out of here in an evening and straight into bed and have a good start to your racing day.

Whilst we also offer a campsite, albeit one with electric, a quieter lifestyle (and also dog friendly - don't try to take a dog to a race track!) we have a range of other accommodation that our many visitors of Cadwell Park enjoy using. We have a rather unusual line up of accommodation at our pub and campsite, and since most people won't know what glamping is, we have a job explaining it. It varies of course but its all about enjoying being outside. At one end, you have pods (small arch shaped insulated wooden buildings) with toilets and showers in them (like the photo) which attracts teams such as Lotus and guests who want something really good for their trip away and at the other end of the scale is a dinky little pod (as small as a two man tent and without anything but a mattress, light and socket) which attracts the occasional biker who really can't be bothered to carry much with them and doesn't want to spend much either. Be it groups, families, couples, friends or work teams we have accommodation to suit and can cater for everything.

What really makes us special is that Cadwell Park is a big draw around here and we really like accommodating their guests with their vans, trailers, mechanics, bikes and anything else, We look after our / their visitors as there is nothing better than the hospitality of a good pub when getting away.
