The Story of The Three Horseshoes

Originally built in 17th century, The Three Horseshoes resembles a proper country pub with its beamed low ceiling feel.  The history of the pub didn't begin until 1936, having previously been the village's Blacksmith, selling a bit of shady booze on the side.

Facilities and Services

Table Booking

We take table bookings for food orders from our evening pub specials and bistro menu for parties of up to eight people.

Larger Tables & Groups

Larger groups are served efficiently with a pre-order when booked in advance.  You can download our pre-order menu from here.

Birthdays and Parties

Have a group for us to cater for?  Whether you are staying on site or not, its easiest to give us a call and we can have a chat about what works.

Treat Packages

Try a glamping weekend with a bottle of bubbly and meal in the restaurant.  Wrap it with a voucher or treat from Jam Jars shop.

Catering & Parties

If you need some catering, we are happy to have a chat about what might for you within our marquee or pub.

Well Behaved Dogs

We welcome well behaved dogs in most areas.  We try to find owners a place where your dog can settle happily.  We also have a dog free area.

Children & Games

We are a friendly type of pub suitable for all ages.  With quiz games, puzzles and toddler's toys we have customers of all ages often playing games.

Toilets, Babies & Accessibility

Unfortunately this is an old building so we have slightly limited access.  We have baby changing facilities available in the ladies (sorry about that) and high chairs available.

WIFI

There is free WIFI throughout the pub and beer garden areas.  4G coverage is patchy depending on your network and 5G, dream on.  You can escape your phone, don't tell the kids.

“The food.... awesome! Highly recommend the fish and chips, it's hard to get the batter crispy all the way round and this is achieved! The pizza's are amazing too!”

“Mega impressed in the quality ... I guess I expected pub grub. But I had the best meal I’ve had in a long time, the slow cooked lamb shoulder with mash was delicious”
