Groups that suit the site
Groups use the site in different ways. Some pitch a few tents together, others mix tents with pods or touring pitches, and sometimes the best fit is choosing accommodation that sits close to friends rather than being the perfect option on paper. Seeing how the different areas relate to each other helps people decide what will work best.
For simple bookings like a couple of tents together, it’s easy to book online. For mixed or larger groups, a quick call usually helps get things lined up.
Part of Staying Here
Pub
The pub is warm and welcoming. Good for morning coffee, easy food, drink and somewhere to spend time together. There are lots of games, TV, a guitar to play and things to do.
Campfires
Campfires are part of camping here. Wood is sold on site to keep things simple, leaving you to enjoy the evening around the fire, with marshmallows to hand.
Snack Shop
There’s a self-serve on-site shop in the pub, ideal for snacks and late night nibbles, some freshly made goodies and selected Lincolnshire produce.
Dog Friendly
Dogs are welcome across the site and in the pub, so they can be part of the stay rather than left behind. Lots of lovely Lincolnshire Wolds walks from the campsite.
Group Stays, Good to Know
Check In / Out
Check-in for our hardstanding and grass pitches is from 12pm. Check-out by 11am.
If you have any pods booked, their check-in is from 3pm.
Quiet at Night
Evenings are generally relaxed and people are mindful of others.
We encourage groups who would like to chat into the evening to come into the pub or marquee if you are likely noisy.
Music is not permitted outside as a campsite party is not what we allow. Music is great within the pub - that is the place for a party vibe and we may be able to set you your own room aside.
Booking multiple units
Well behaved groups are welcome at our campsite and we enjoy finding space for you all within our pub too.
We would reccommend you call us on 0333 456 1221 for some help with booking in larger groups. We can then advise if we have enough available pitches together and how to get friends to go about booking, especially if people are booking seperately online. You can also send an enquiry via the form at the bottom of the page.
To note: The online booking facility can add multiple units to your booking but may not necessarily book pitches together. There is a bit of human involved to make sure we do this when possible, but the earlier it is booked the more likely it is we can site you together.
If your friends are booking seperately, there is a special request box to add a group name / request (e.g. with the John Smith group). Again we will use some humanity to do our best to put you as close together as possible.
Pub Services & Food
Its a good idea to give the pub staff a heads up if there are a lot of you wanting to eat or sit together.
We probably have solutions given enough notice.
