A reputation for good country pub food, freshly prepared and cooked in house.

Everyone loves good tasty pub food which is why we specialise in delivering popular dishes made simply but well, to hopefully make our customers eating eyes and taste buds happy without being too flashy and expensive.  Hopefully our reputation for good food and value is deserved.

We are a small pub kitchen headed by Ian the owner chef and his excellent team of well trained staff.  The business is naturally placed to develop a food offer to suit our market which is lead by guests on its thriving campsite and glampsite, local visitors to Cadwell Park and the Lincolnshire Wolds as well as residents in the area.  Put simply, we gear towards visitors, families and all people who want to eat good food in a very relaxed family pub atmosphere.

Food Service Times - Summer Season

Lunchtime Food 12-2pm Wednesday to Sunday;
Evening Food 6-8pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 5-9pm Friday and Saturday

The pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday, although we do offer takeaway Pizzas to guests staying at the Three Horseshoes.

Food Service Times - Winter Season

In the winter we contract our pub hours to weekends.  Starting from Friday evening and finishing with Sunday Carvery Lunch.  Our winter season follows when you change your clocks, starting from the end of October and changing back to Summer at the end of March)

Our Menus

Opening Times

The pub operates seasonally, with extended opening times during the summer months.  Please either check our seasonal opening times or our current opening times on this page to find out when food is available.

Sundays

Sundays are different.  We serve a popular Sunday carvery with meat sourced from local farms. With a choice of plate sizes to suit all appetites we offer a welcoming environment to bring your family for Sunday lunch.

Groups & Special Diets

We are pretty good for groups and we regularly deal with walking groups, biker groups, club stop offs and coffee breaks as the larger groups of friends staying in some of the bigger self catering properties in the area.  Please just remember that we are a rural country pub so don't expect us to have staff, food or space on hand without some prior notification - we can usually juggle things but its a lot easier with some notice so please phone and book so that we can advise what we can do.

The same applies for allergen advice or special diets.
